City of Manchester Water Polo Club will host the LEN Trophy Women’s Water Polo Qualification Round this weekend (10-12 February) at the Manchester Aquatics Centre.

The team qualified for the European showdown for the second year in a row after winning the British Championships in 2005.

The Manchester squad combines youth and experience with an international pedigree as a number of players have recently returned from the Commonwealth Championships in Australia or were part of the National Junior Team to compete last weekend in Slovakia.
